So, I was on the treadmill today, thinking about that extra 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, mile that we all try to push for, getting that endurance level up. I'm no workout guru, but with G8/NATO just ahead, it's past time to make sure we are doing all we can to prepare ourselves.
In any case, the whole endurance thing was going through my head, I thought, this is great, but only somewhat realistic of what might happen. As a result, I started to change it up some. I would speed up, then stop randomly, do some boxing and knee strikes, then jump back on again. It was like a new world.
I know a lot of people here do a lot of training and working out, so I just wanted to add something that works for me to make sure I am, as the WTA says, training for the fight (*not the marathon*).
Best,
Bea
