As both an ex-Navy "Brat" and a Southern Lady, I was raised with Rifles, Shotguns and Handguns! I had become a resurrected "Active" Shooter 12 months ago. I have trained with several Instructors who have had either an LEO Credential, a Military Credential &/or a combination of both. However, none of them had given me the kind of seriousness, respect and support that I had recently received last week at the 5-Day Tactical Pistol 1 Course at the U.S. Training Center [formerly Blackwater] in Moyock, North Carolina.

Our Instructors, Tom & Malcolm, were more than just Instructors! They were Coaches who were able to not only evaluate/dissect our individual skill-sets but were also able to identify & correct our
weaknesses/deficiencies while reinforcing our strengths. Tom & Malcolm had worked together as the preverbal Ying & Yang! Their goal was to get each Student ready to
successfully complete the Day 5 Exercises: the 360 Degree, ballistically safe, Modular Armored Tactical Combat House [MATCH] and the Steel
Target Reactive Handgun Shooting Drill Program. Their joint success is a credit to their “real-life” experiences
and to the organization that recruited them..the USTC!!
