This course is designed for the patrol officer as an introduction to the basics of Close Quarter Battle (CQB). The course will introduce the student to tactics, techniques and procedures that will greatly increase their chances of surviving a lethal force threat that may be encounter while working in a patrol environment. Safe weapons handling and target discrimination will be the core principles of the course. Additional topics will include: safety, equipment considerations, target discrimination, breach point procedures and 1-2 person CQB
