AR-15 / M-16 / M-4 Armorer Class

This pre-Conference one Day Armorer Course details mechanical operationsof the AR-15 / M-16. Students will disas- semble upper and lower receivers,identify working parts and learn how to diagnose and replace common faulty condi- tions and parts.

Instructors: Ned Christiansen, Jeff Chudwin, Kim Heath, Andy Orians, and Daryl Howell
Cost: Conference attendees $50. All other sworn officers, $100 which includes a complimentary 2015/2016 ITOA membership.

Students Must Bring the Following Items:

• UNLOADED and CASED AR-15 / M-16 / M-4 type rifle or carbine

• Clear Glasses / Eye Protection MANDATORY

• Small flashlight

• 1/8 inch pin punch

• Small hammer

• Long shank slot screw driver

• 3/16 inch long shank Allen wrench • Small - medium size safety pins
• Old bath towel for working surface • Cleaning rag

• Small bottle lubricant
• One EMPTY 30 round magazine.

Each student is required to bring a bag lunch and drinks.

Safety Rules Will Be Strictly Enforced:

• NO LIVE RIFLE AMMUNITION WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE TRAINING ROOM.

• ALL RIFLES MUST BE IN A CASE AND UNLOADED TO BRING INTO THE HOTEL.

• A CHAMBERSAFE SAFETY DEVICE WILL BE ISSUED TO EACH ATTENDEE AND MUST BE USED

  DURING THE CLASS TO INSURE A CLEAR CHAMBER AND SAFE WEAPON.
