Anyone out there using a Leupold VX-R Patrol optic that could take a few minutes and post some feedback on it? We have a member that is optic shopping and the Leupold is one of his options. Thanks!

Hello everyone and welcome back to the Women’s Tactical Association Workout of the Week. We are going to switch gears and start working with our rifles. If you don’t have a rifle, feel free to follow along with your shotgun.
Make sure your rifle is unloaded first. I’m a big fan of the CBD, Chamber Blocking Device. It does just that, and gives an excellent visual indicator to everyone else around that your chamber is blocked. When you want it out, you…

Our friends over at Bolo Report recently posted this article about the dangers of repeated chambering of the same bullet(s). If you routinely unload and reload a firearm, as most cops do, this is good information to have.
Have you dry fired today?

I have a few of these, Magnum RD Long Sleeve Shirts, in short sleeve also, and two of these, Magnum RD Pant, all for women. Pants are size 8 short, approx. 30" inseam, and the shirts are mediums and larges. Colors are navy and black. I didn't want to just ship them to testers based on size, since clothing has…

I have two sets top and bottom, of Under Armour Cold Gear, compression fit, women's size Large, free to good home. They are black, top is mock neck, like new condition. I bought them for work to wear under my uniform, but they are more suited to aerobic activities. I will pay shipping to get them to you, I don't need them, but don't want to throw them out and do not live near a donation location.

There are no prerequisites for the rifle classes, you can take whichever ones you'd like, without having to take the one before if you so choose. FYI.

Just tripped over THIS on the internet. Diamondback Tactical catalog. I have two of their plate carriers, a Fast Attach and an Advanced Fast Attack. They deliver a lot of bang for your buck and they are made in America.

Things got a little hectic in my corner of the universe with holidays and Shot Show coming up. I have lesson plans and handouts to get together for the upcoming classes, but should be resuming WODs in a couple of weeks, once I get a bit caught up. In anticipation of the National Patrol Rifle Championship in June, I'll be mixing in some rifle WODs. In the meantime, keep at the old WODs and make sure you revisit the ones that you need the most work at. Remember, you have to be as good as…

WOD begins as do all WODs, with a safety check. Make sure you unload your pistol, physically check your chamber, press check in good light, look away, press check again. Put ALL of your ammo and magazines in another room, and properly situate your body armor so you can dry fire at it, over a chair, on a hanger, etc. One more press check, please. The focus of this WOD is going to be your front sight. You will draw and aim at your threat, picking up your front sight about half way there,…

WOD 11/29/11
I have decided to save movement drills until I can post a video for it, as that will save me a lot of typing time, and save you a lot of reading time.
Today’s WOD builds on the WOD from 11/27/11, and you will be practicing malfunction clearance. You will use only your support hand again, but you will need one empty magazine The first step in every dry fire session is safety. Make sure…
