AR15 weapons maintenance (all aspects) will be taught; we will cover cleaning, inspection, repair, upgrades, maintaining accuracy through bore/crown preservation, magazines, accessories, optics and more. WCI Muzzle Brakes will be available for evaluation.
Attendees will have their weapons inspected for reliability, upgrades and building will be done on site as time allows. When finished you will be able to do these things for yourself.
Weapons cleaning kit consisting of the following: Bore snake/rod, chamber/bore brushes, patches, cleaning solvents, Brakleen, bore paste, lubricants, bolt scraper or non-abrasive Scotch-Brite pad, cleaning items that one regularly uses, small bright flashlights such as a Cree P4 or surefire etc. (bring what you have, the brighter the better).
Attendees can bring items they want added or changed on their weapons.
200 rounds of pistol ammo, 100 rounds of shotgun ammo if desired, as many rounds as one chooses to shoot for the rifle (minimum is 120).
Proper footgear required (you are only as stable as your feet are).
As always proper ear protection, eye protection required (shooting/tactical gloves recommended)
Wear the gear you will have on when you are working, practice as you will do in real situations.
There will be additional time allowed for practicing lessons taught.
Cost is $25 for WTA members, $50 for non-members.
