For the first time in many years, NTOA’s conference is happening in the Northeast! Pittsburgh will be the site of our 27th Annual Tactical Operations Conference and Vendor Show, and it is perfectly located within driving distance of almost 20 states and parts of eastern Canada.

Start now and plan your trip to Pittsburgh to take part in the NTOA's amazing annual event, which combines education, a two-day vendor show and great networking opportunities. The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police and Pennsylvania State Police are busy planning for your arrival.

Since this is your organization, we wanted to hear from you — so last fall we conducted a survey to determine what topics you wanted to see offered at our conference. As a result, we have added several new practical tracks and seminars. So hurry and register because courses will fill quickly!

Attendees may choose from 32-, 24- or 16-hour practical tracks including waterborne operations, MACTAC (Multi-Assault Counter-Terrorism Action Capabilities), HRT and HRW. A variety of 8- and 4-hour seminar tracks will address topics such as SWAT supervision, crisis negotiations and threat assessments.

Top-notch vendor show on Sunday and Monday will bring together more than 175 vendors to showcase the latest in law enforcement technology and equipment.

Conference registration begins on Saturday, September 18. The first 200 students to check in at the NTOA registration desk will be eligible to win a travel voucher courtesy of Dorel Travel.

Seminars begin on Sunday, September 19 and run throughout the week.

The 5K Run and Barbecue will be held on Monday this year and will start at 1800 hours.

General Session will be held on Monday at 0900 hours and attendance is mandatory!

SWAT Call Out dinners will be held on Sunday evening. Registration forms will be available on our Web site on August 1, 2010. Please sign up for a dinner and take advantage of this unique opportunity to dine with experts in the field.
On Sunday evening, students will have the unique opportunity to attend “An Evening with Ron McCarthy and John Kolman” for a discussion of the history of SWAT.
Practical tracks start on Tuesday, September 21 and continue throughout the week.
