What: Close Range Personal Defense - Phase 1

Join us in the 1^st of a 6-course series dedicated to helping you learn the critical firearm skills, tactics, and mindset required to effectively deal with deadly threats.

Through discussion, demonstration, dry fire and live range practice, this course will cover the following topics:

• Firearm safety in the real world
• 8 fundamentals of marksmanship
• Everyday carry considerations
• Live fire accuracy drills

This course is ideal for the concealed carry permit holder who is looking to improve their ‘from the holster’ proficiency and to enhance the skills most critical in self-defense situations. 

Price:  $150 (includes range fee)   (cash or check preferred, PayPal accepted [convenience charge may apply])
Ammo: 100 rounds (factory loads only – NO reloads)

Gear required:

• Semi-auto pistol
• 1-3 magazines
• Holster (OWB preferred, no closed-topped (i.e. ‘Sneaky Pete’))
• Magazine pouch (suggested but not required for Phase 1)
• Ammunition    (Factory loads only - NO reloads)
• Eye protection (Prescription glasses still require additional eye protection)
• Ear protection (Electronic muffs suggested to better hear commands)
• Brimmed hat (to prevent hot brass in your eye)
• Closed neck shirt (to prevent hot brass from going down shirt)
• Long pants / Closed-toed shoes
• Clothing suitable for weather (layers if cold!! Gloves must be thin enough to safely manipulate gun)
• Water and snacks
• FOID (IL residents only) / Driver’s License / State ID
